A lot of customers are still inquiring about our FREE Manicure every Wednesday, even when the promotion has ended since 15th October 2009. KITSU has been doing the FREE Manicure promotion for the past 3 months.

Now we have a new promotion for our new or usual customers. You will get a FREE Manicure when you do a Spa Pedicure. Our Spa pedicures consist of some very pampering materials, from Sea-Salt Scrubs to Dead Sea Mud mask. Imagine putting on layers of mud mask on your feet after a long week of work. I felt like heaven when I first had it done myself. Previously only had mud mask for my face, but not on my legs before.

Manicure Service for Nestle Roadshows

Kitsu, The Nail Salon is currently partnering with Nestle in their new product's roadshows; the Nestle Nesvita Calciplus. The roadshows are currently at selected Jusco Supermarkets in Klang Valley and will be moving on to other hypermarkets soon.

The new milk product is targeted for young women, especially those who are lack of calcium. Where does Kitsu comes in the picture? Well, for every pack of Calciplus purchased, the customer is entitled to a FREE 10 minute manicure, which includes nail shaping, filing, buffing & hand massage. I must say, this is truly something different that I've seen. When approached, I thought it was for a hand lotion launching. Bravo to the people in Nestle to have told of this idea.

How do u know if you're lacking of calcium? Well;

You have white patches on your nails.
There is a purplish haze surrounding your half-moons (the patches nearer to your skin)
Your nails turn purplish often while in an air-conditioned room (i used to think this was normal. guess not)

You're on the 'safe' side if:

The 'half-moon' on your thumbs must be covering at least 25% of your thumb nails
There must be smaller area of half-moons on the other 3 fingers, excluding your pinky finger.

There are more signs if you goggle them; try 'nails lack of calcium' as keywords.
